I had never read Jackie Collins, thinking it wasn't my cup of tea. This was on sale, and I thought I'd give it a shot. Her books were insanely popular after all. It turns out, I loved it! The author painted quite a picture of 80s Hollywood, sex-crazed, shallow, cut-throat and narcissistic (probably no different today), but it was her storytelling I really admired. At first she throws out puzzle pieces, and gradually the pieces come together. And as for the mystery of the mid-Western girl, Collins kept me guessing until the end. It's rare an author can surprise me, but this one absolutely did! If the subject matter is shallow, the writing is full of depth and complexities. Now I understand the appeal of Jackie Collins.Product details

Loved this book! Have read a few Jackie Collins' and they never disappoint. Great characters that are fully developed and a wonderful story line that keeps you entertained throughout the whole book. I did not realize how much I missed a well edited book till I read this. It really does make a difference!
Jackie Collins is an exquisite writer. Hollywood Husbsnds is a great collection of intertwined stories of people who know eachother personally or thru business association. All the stories keep you captive till the end. And of course the big reveal at the end was not something I expected.
Before you know what happens you care about the characters and their ridiculous situations. A fun read. I've been reading Jackie Collins since junior high in the 80s and she still delivers. R.I.P. and thanks for the entertainment xo
I am a huge Jackie Collins fan. This book Hollywood Kids did not disappoint. These are the kids of the Hollywood elite where in their mind they can do whatever they want. This book was full of action and suspense and all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
Know one does a book like Jackie Collins,her work has amazed me for years,but Hollywood Husbands just did me in.This book had me so nervous I didn't know what to do.Every character in the book was great but I only wanted two people to get together and guess what Jackie made my dreams come true.I love You Jackie,may you continue to soar.
It didn’t come with the cover. It just said ‘Jackie Collins’ along the spine. Usually I wouldn’t care... but I bought this as a prop for a play. The lines in the scene talk about a jackie Collins book & I wanted to see a vintage cover. The vintage cover was the wholeeeee reason I bought this particular book.
That being said... it was in fine condition otherwise. Whatever.
I really liked this book. I have read quite a few Jackie Collins novels and this one does not disappoint. I will say that the beginning threw me off just slightly, but as I read on, I understood much more why it started out the way it did. It sucked me in as all Jackie Collins books do for me.
The book was suspenseful most of the way through, I couldn't put it down. Some of the main characters are blessed but very spoiled. At first, I didn't want to like some of the main characters, but as I read on, I found myself becoming attached to these characters. This book took so many twists and turns, I was starting to prematurely guess who was the bad guy.
I definitely recommend this book to those who like fast paced, scandalous reads
